And what better way to experience such magic than with a film like The Fable, a story of swords, secrets and self-discovery that would make the Bard himself proud?
Yes, dear audience, this movie directed by Kan Eguchi is indeed a fable in its own right, full of wit, action and heart. It tells the tale of a legendary assassin known only as “The Fable”, who has been raised since childhood to be the perfect killer without any emotions or memories outside his profession. However, after completing his latest mission in Osaka with his partner “Yakuza” (played by Junichi Okada), he is ordered to lay low and take on an ordinary life for a year until further notice.
